Situation

Being at an early stage in their life as a company moving close to launching their first shippable product all effort was on product development and there was simply not time to spend on the marketing. Although active on social media Workvine had a very narrow audience demonstrated by the fact that their twitter account only had 13 followers.

Action

With very little to start with the team generated a content archive focused on growing the audience and reaching out to the company’s core buyers, focusing on quickly generating some real results for the company to coincide with the launch of their product. To gain reach with a limited audience the plan was to deliver high quality content with a clear focus on engagement.

Result

Although starting with a very limited audience we managed to produce some great results in the very first week of going live. The client reported back to us in an email the following statistics:

  • Exponentially reaching 121,000 people from their Twitter account originally having only 13 followers
  • Content sharing increased by 10,000%
  • Tweet impressions raised by 6,880%
  • Increased website page visits by 1,232% in a week

The results we produced on Twitter led to Workvine expanding our relationship moving from us only managing their Twitter account to rolling out our services across Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.

This has evolved over time but still producing incredible results for our client, an example being us spreading their marketing videos to their core demographic in an incredible cost effective way. For example during an eight-week period Gather Social produced ~8,000 video views from their target audience at an incredibly low cost.

The client remains delighted with the results we have produced leading to a steady stream of sales leads being generated from social media.
